About Us

Removing barriers to sleep care — one patient at a time.

Sleep specialist consulting with a patient in a modern clinic office

At East Coast Sleep Clinic, we believe that great sleep shouldn’t be hard to access. That’s why we offer free at-home sleep testing, free CPAP trials, and free educational presentations for community groups — because removing barriers to care is at the heart of everything we do.

After your at-home sleep test, we’ll call you with your results and send an independently interpreted sleep report to your doctor within one week. From there, we work closely with you and your healthcare team to find the right path forward — whether that’s CPAP therapy, lifestyle guidance, or education about healthy sleep habits.

Angela Cummings, BSc, RRT, Certified Sleep Health Educator

Angie Cummings is the founder and owner of East Coast Sleep Clinic, with three locations serving clients across southern New Brunswick — Sussex, Kennebecasis Valley, and Riverview. A Dalhousie-trained Registered Respiratory Therapist with more than two decades of experience, she has helped people across the Maritimes get diagnosed and treated for sleep apnea, sleep better, and feel better.

Angie specializes in home sleep apnea testing, CPAP therapy, and ongoing support for clients living with sleep-disordered breathing. She is also a Certified Sleep Health Educator.

Born and raised in Sussex, Angie began her career in critical care respiratory therapy in Nova Scotia, where her work in a hospital sleep lab sparked the passion that became her life’s work. She founded and ran her first sleep clinic on the South Shore before returning home to Sussex in 2012 to establish what has since grown into East Coast Sleep Clinic — three locations across Sussex, KV, and Riverview.

At East Coast Sleep, Angie and her team practice client-centred care. The client makes the decisions about their own health, and the team’s role is to support them in those decisions and meet them where they are — whatever their starting point looks like. That support continues long-term, with ongoing follow-up at every stage of treatment, because sleep health is not a one-time appointment. It is a relationship that grows over years.

When she’s not at the clinic, Angie is an active member of the Sussex community, having held many volunteer roles over the years — most recently with the Rotary Club of Sussex. Outside of work, you’ll find her spending time with her family and walking her pups.
